Outdoor Program

2024

New program structure for 2024

CRFC has structured our soccer program to cater to players of all skill levels and aspirations, providing a comprehensive pathway for development. Divided into three distinct streams – Community, Club, and Performance – the program aims to offer a tailored experience to suit all player’s individual needs and ambitions.

Community Stream

The community stream is the foundation of our program, emphasizing inclusivity, fun, and skill development for players of all ages and abilities. This stream focuses on fostering a love for the game, basic skill acquisition, teamwork, and a sense of belonging within the soccer community. It’s open to beginners, recreational players, and those seeking a relaxed yet enriching soccer experience. Emphasis is placed on enjoyment, learning the fundamentals, and creating a positive environment for all participants.

Club Stream

The club stream is geared towards players looking for a higher level of training, competition, and commitment. This stream is designed for individuals seeking more structured coaching, increased competition, and a greater level of skill development. Players in this stream participate in regular training sessions focused on technical proficiency, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental preparation. They also engage in competitive league play and tournaments, providing opportunities for growth and exposure to higher-level soccer.

Performance Stream

The performance stream is the pinnacle of our program, catering to elite-level players aspiring to compete at the highest levels of the sport. This stream is for highly dedicated athletes who demonstrate exceptional skill, commitment, and ambition. The training curriculum is intensive, covering advanced techniques, tactical strategies, performance testing, physical conditioning, and match analysis. Players in this stream compete in top-tier leagues, showcase events, and have access to additional resources such as elite coaching, specialized clinics, and exposure to university and professional pathways.

* CMSA league structure varies by age group and division. Locations, date, and times of matches are set by CMSA not CRFC.
** Club stream teams will have at least one training session per week led by a nationally licensed coach
*** Performance stream Mastery Clinics are made available to club stream players at an additional cost
**** Club apparel is a one time purchase for new players to the club
