Rockies Grassroots Summer Sessions

Under4 to Under9 (2020-2015) – Dalhousie or Evanston

Summer sessions are designed for players of all abilities. The sessions give opportunities for our players to get extra touches on the ball, brush up on some basic skills as well as learning new ones. Players will have the chance to put these skills to the test during rule restricted small sided games where coaches will teach the game itself while encouraging players to try new things.

Fun games will be at the core of the program which will start to teach the players on how to turn, dribble and engage other players. Some of the skills and techniques players could be included:

• Dribbling, Cuts and turns, 1v1 skills, Shooting, Basic defending, Striking the ball, Juggling
